California is calling!
California is a great first step into a bigger, more in depth family vacation if you live on the east coast. The flight is almost as long as it takes to get to some parts of Europe so you can practice longer flights with kids, but you don’t need a passport or experience as much of a time zone change. There’s also so much adventure to be had in CA.
These pictures are circa 2018 when our boys were 6 and 3.5. The San Diego zoo and wildlife park are so amazing. The kids were endlessly entertained while we went on safari, fed an Okapi, and saw so many amazing animals. Highly recommend for any animal lovers in your family.
