Our summer cruise day three ~ some of us slept in, while others took advantage of the onboard spa to kick off a day of relaxation. After a nice breakfast, we hit the beach! There were lots of places to explore on Coco Cay which is Royal Caribbean’s private Bahamian island.

There’s just something about an alley in Lisbon. You never know what you’ll find. It’s an eclectic collection of history, restaurants, w**e bars, desserts, and shopping influenced by many different cultures. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Day 2 of our summer cruise was a sea day. Good morning from the Caribbean!

I love a slow morning. Having breakfast in the main dining room is one of my favorite things to do. It’s a nice alternative to the buffet and you’ll find many of the same options available.

More balcony time with a good book.

Tonight we opted for specialty dining at Chops. It was@delicious and the service was top notch.

Somehow we ended up lots of appetizers to try.

Evenings onboard have something for everyone. We attended a comedy show after dinner, browsed shops, people watched, etc. I love that you can do as much or as little as you want.

Ice cream. Sure, why not!

I love a good view when on vacation. These friends had the best of both worlds, city lights by night and ocean views during the day.

Carnival cruisers: keep an eye on your email! Carnival is requiring all current VIFP members to enroll in the new Carnival rewards program. Joia here they come! This is the second time I’ve been able to help this couple plan a Caribbean getaway for two. This time is to the beautiful island of the Dominican Republic. They are ready to leave the kids and grandkids behind!
