Occasionally I visit the cottages to ensure everything is in order and I always appreciate reading the thoughtful notes our cleaning lady, Melissa leaves for incoming guests. I encourage our cleaning staff to add their personal touch and Melissa certainly does just that. Love, love, love the verses she always includes on the

Last night was lovely! We did some spring clean up around the cottages and even took some time to listen to the sounds of nature including Chippy’s panting 🥰

Today was lovely! The yards were perfect for mowing and we even got some Spring flowers planted!

Wow it’s been a busy March here at Red Cottage Hideaway! The Spring cleaning has taken a little longer but is pretty much finished thanks to our wonderful cleaning staff! We are so thankful for all the guests who take the time to leave us a review. We see you!! It really does help our little mom and pop business!

Here is the Woodland cottage from my neck of the woods! We sit on 16 acres here and I love that there’s room for all the cottages and our house to have plenty of privacy; it’s one of the main reasons we moved down here. In the summer time I can’t see any of them which I don’t mind😉

On a different note-The snow is so beautiful for a cabin stay even if we’re anticipating Spring! I hope our guests are enjoying the warm cozy fireplaces to the fullest today!

Spring has sprung at the Pear Tree Cottage! Beautiful yellow tulips, simple green foliage and cheery little rabbits have freshened up the space for sure. We hope our guests leave here feeling inspired and refreshed! 🌷🫶🏼🌷
