Hey y’all, meet Logan and Nikki! A friendship that’s beginning to blossom. Nikki is visually impaired and Logan uses wheels for his legs. But don’t let that fool you, the adventures they go on and the connection they share is out of this world! Nikki loves pushing Logan around town on their walks and chatting about the things they hear and see. Is it always perfect? Absolutely not. Is it a beautiful friendship? ABSOLUTELY! So if you see these two out exploring and experiencing life, give them a hello!

As we wrap up DSP Week, we hope you know that our appreciation for you doesn’t end when this week does.

Every day, you give your time, patience, compassion, energy, and heart to support others. You celebrate victories, encourage independence, provide comfort during difficult moments, and help create opportunities for the people you serve to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Some days are challenging. Some days are exhausting. And some days remind you exactly why you chose this work. Through all of them, you make a difference.

Thank you for every extra effort, every encouraging word, every problem you solve, every smile you bring, and every moment you choose to show up for someone else.

DSP Week may be ending, but the impact you make never does.

Continue to lead with kindness, advocate with purpose, celebrate every accomplishment, and never underestimate the difference one caring person can make.
