Provence Wine Tour:

The visit that was voted #1 during the May Provence Tour 2025. This is the class where my brother, François-Xavier Vidil, shared his knowledge of barrel aging, and when we tasted the resulting wine that he created for Chateau Lestours Clocher in Vacqueyras: the irresistible « 1717, » which compares very well with most Chateauneuf du Pape. This wine was also voted #1 of the tour.

Languedoc Wine Tour 2025:

Enjoy Languedoc in October. This trip will take you in a part of France that remains mysterious to even most French people. This is France’s Deep South, and there you will be chasing medieval ghosts in places only known to pilgrims on their way to Compostelle. There may be something mystical about this tour, in which you will encounter wine characters who are already legend material. in other words: nothing can prepare you for a tour in a part of France which is out of this world.

You will travel from port to port, explore the roots of Celtic culture which predates our civilisation. You will drink a selection of the wines that I import from France as well as some of the very best ciders in the world, and I also import these. All this with a quintessential panorama of Brittani’s gastronomy, form crêpes to lobster, and with your fair share of oysters and fish in between. Dinner at the castle with Denis Grangeon of Domaine du Parandouwho produced notable the fabulous Sablet Blanc that O highly recommend as a delicious, fresh, élégant my aromatic white Rhône. Robin also produced a Sablet Red that is the wine to have with méats on the grill or BBQ.
