Luxury Travel Is In Its Experience Era

In our recently announced Signature Agency Intelligence: Trend Watch we discuss how luxury travel has shifted, from luxury as a product to luxury as an experience.

Affluent travelers are prioritizing authenticity, exclusive access, and personalized itineraries over traditional hallmarks of indulgence. The numbers reflect it: Signature's luxury cruise sales for 2026 departures are up 16% year-over-year, with Destination Specialist and Hotel & Resorts Collection sales growing 13% and 12%, respectively. 2027 is already pacing well ahead.

"Today's traveler is seeking something far more meaningful than traditional status symbols," said Michelle Lardizabal, Chief Marketing & Sales Officer of Signature. "As travelers become more intentional about how they invest both their time and money, luxury has become deeply personal, making the role of the travel advisor more important than ever."

Ending our Owners’ Meeting the Texas way. 🤠

Boots, barbecue, music, and a whole lot of rodeo fun. We wrapped up our time in San Antonio at Pedrotti's Ranch with an evening filled with laughter, great food, Texas hospitality, and even better company.
