And the only outfitters south of us are RiverRiders Rentals, so if you’re looking at a specific date this summer, get those reservations in asap!

A quick check-in from the outfitting side of AO as summer approaches.

If you've not already heard, with a recent retirement, we are now the only outfitter remaining on the 77-mile stretch of river between Kinzua Dam and Franklin. When we moved home in 2006 to begin this adventure, there were 7 of us. You may be thinking, "this is great for AO!" Although we're always happy to help folks explore a new stretch of river, this is a really large gap in services and resources.

With all of this being said, we will do everything we can to help everyone get where they need to go on the 107-mile stretch of river between Kinzua Dam and Emlenton, as we do every summer.

We have seen a fairly large uptick in reservations. If spending some time on the river this summer is a priority, please narrow down those days and get a reservation in as soon as possible, especially if you have a larger group.

The dates below are filling up quickly or already sold out:

Saturday, June 6: A few handful of canoes available.
Saturday, June 20: A few handful of canoes available.
Thursday, June 25: All canoes gone.
Monday, July 20: A couple handful of canoes available.
Tuesday, July 21: A couple handful of canoes available.
Wednesday, July 22: All canoes gone.
Thursday, July 30: All canoes gone.
