Karl Haugen has his Solo Show until the end of August at The Spiral Gallery
No matter if he painted birds, dogs, or wild animals, his colorful images are all one of a kind.
Because in his process he leaves a certain amount of the paper white, as a background, it makes his colorful watercolor paintings pop.
Greeting cards of Karl's work are also available.
Come in and see the detailed paintings in person and enjoy to take one home, 341 S. Broadway.
Opening hours for the Gallery are Tu-Su. 12-5pm.

Mt. Hood Hospice and will be on the grounds of the Hull Foundation in Sandy, OR, 43233 SE Oral Hull Park Rd. Join us between 5:30 and 7:30. It is a drop in event so come when you can. It's free to attend and have people honored.

We know this was a couple days ago but we didn't want it to pass without saying "Happy Birthday to Smokey Bear" Smokey turned 82 and after so many years in the business, he's a pro at wildfire prevention. Put your Smokey Hat on in honor of his birthday and help prevent the wildfires. Check local regulations, don't park over dry grass, and learn more wildfire prevention tips at keeporegongreen.org
So important right now in our area that we pay attention and be responsible for our actions. If you see someone out camping that has a campfire help them put it out while explaining how important it is to make sure the fire is out and that it is a NO BURN AREA right now.
Report something suspicious such as fireworks, unmanned campfire, target shooting in the woods or a vehicle with a chain dragging making sparks, you will be a hero. Be Safe! Be Smart! Be Responsible!
