What does a travel advisor do when they’re not booking your vacations? We travel, we learn, and we do our homework! ✈️🌎

I’ve
Just arrived in Orlando for my host agency’s annual conference, where I’ll spend the week learning, networking, meeting with travel industry partners, and getting the inside scoop on what’s new and what’s worth experiencing.

Why do I invest the time in these conferences and “working vacations”? Because it directly benefits YOU—my clients! ❤️

The travel industry is constantly changing, and I want to be more than someone who simply books your trip. I want to have firsthand knowledge of the destinations, resorts, cruise ships, tours, and experiences I recommend. These conferences give me the opportunity to build relationships with suppliers, learn about new products, discover better ways to serve my clients, and bring home tips and insights that can make your next vacation even better.

And once the work is done, the family fun begins! 🎢

My family will be joining me in Orlando later this week, and we’ll be enjoying the attractions at Universal, including a visit to Epic Universe—our first time experiencing the newest Universal park! I can’t wait to explore it for myself so I can give my clients firsthand advice about what’s worth seeing and doing. 🌎✨

Then we’re boarding the Star of the Seas, one of the world’s largest cruise ships! 🚢🌊 I’m especially excited to experience this ship firsthand and bring you all the details—from the cabins and dining to the entertainment, activities, and what it’s really like to sail on a ship of this size.

And we’ll finish our adventure with three days at Walt Disney World! 🏰✨

So yes, there will be plenty of fun—but there’s also a LOT of professional research happening along the way. 😉

That’s one of the things I love most about being a travel advisor: I get to travel, learn, experience, and then use that knowledge to help YOU travel better.
