Edible Herbalism: Making Electuaries at Home

Discover one of the most delicious ways to work with herbs by learning how to make electuaries—traditional herbal preparations that combine powdered herbs with honey into rich, flavorful pastes. In this hands-on workshop, Erika will guide you through the basic ingredients, proportions, techniques, and creative possibilities for making electuaries at home. You’ll learn how to choose herbs, balance flavors and textures, and create preparations that are both practical and pleasurable to use. Perfect for beginners and experienced herbalists alike, this workshop offers an approachable introduction to a simple preparation with deep roots in traditional herbal practice. Participants will have the opportunity to taste a variety of electuaries and explore ideas for creating their own blends for everyday herbal care.
