✨ Slovenia, you completely stole our hearts. ✨

From the moment we landed, it felt like we had stepped into a real-life fairytale.

We picked up our rental car at Ljubljana Airport and made our way to Lake Bled, checking into Hotel Park with a balcony overlooking the lake.

The view?

Absolutely breathtaking. One of those moments where you just stand there and stare because pictures could never do it justice.

Despite some serious jet lag, we couldn’t resist exploring. We wandered the charming town of Bled, discovered incredible Slovenian wines, enjoyed a delicious dinner, and soaked in every magical moment.

The next morning, our internal clocks had us awake before sunrise, so we laced up our shoes and walked 4 miles around Lake Bled. Pure. Magic. ✨

We hiked up to Bled Castle, visited the iconic church on the lake, and wondered how one place could possibly be this beautiful.

Then came a day of unforgettable adventures:
🌿 Vintgar Gorge — an absolute must-see.
🚂 Postojna Cave — a natural wonder so incredible that you take a train deep into the cave system. Honestly, I don’t think words can adequately describe it.
🏰 Predjama Castle — a medieval castle literally built into the side of a cliff.
After a full day of exploring, we made our way to Ljubljana and checked into the beautiful InterContinental Ljubljana. 😍

The next day we set out to explore Slovenia’s charming capital city, wandering through:
✨ Park Tivoli
✨ Ljubljana Castle
✨ Preseren Square
✨ Triple Bridge
✨ Dragon Bridge
✨ Congress Square
✨ Cobbler’s Bridge
With a few Hugo Spritz stops along the way, of course. 🍹😉

What surprised me most about Slovenia is how much variety is packed into such a small country. Within just a couple of days, we experienced stunning alpine lakes, dramatic gorges, underground cave systems, a castle built into a cliff, and one of the most charming capital cities in Europe, filled with the friendliest people you’ll ever meet.
