It was great attending the Greater Portland ASTA Mexico Showcase on Tuesday! 😎 I got a chance to chat with reps from tour companies, cruise lines, resorts, and tourism boards, meet fellow travel advisors, and hear some great presentations. 💚

Thinking about a group cruise? Here’s why I always tell my clients to lock it in early 💰

1️⃣ Early booking pricing is the lowest it’ll ever be, it only goes up from here
2️⃣ Cabin categories sell out fast, waiting can mean paying more for a worse room
3️⃣ Booking early means your payments spread out over time instead of one big hit right before sailing

One of my daughter’s favorite attractions on MSC WORLD AMERICA was Jaw Drop— a 250 foot stainless steel dry slide that twists & turns its prey down 11 decks! 🦈 She was afraid at first, but once she conquered the beast she wanted to keep sliding over & over again.

⭐️ Hot Tip: reserve a slide time on the app! The wait is much shorter if you have a time reserved than if you wait in the stand-by line. 😉

While staying at our beach house in Playa Avellanas, Costa Rica a couple of our friends rented e-bikes and let us take them for a spin! It was so fun riding down to the beach and around the neighborhood!

The people at the rental place were so nice, and the rentals were very reasonably priced. 😊

Okay, but can we retire this stereotype already? 🙋‍♀️

River cruising has gotten a serious glow-up: bike tours through vineyards, wine tastings, cooking classes, and a new city practically every day. No bingo required (unless you’re into that, no judgment).

The real appeal isn’t about age, it’s about pace. Wake up somewhere new, unpack once, and let someone else handle the logistics. That works whether you’re 35 or 75.
