Let's celebrate!

09/02/2024

Let's celebrate the harvest!!

We finished our harvest yesterday. Thank you to all the volunteers and team members for all your energy and flexibility! Could not have done this without you.

Now, it is time to take a breath - please join us today (Monday, September 2nd) from 11 am to 5 pm. We are open for Labor Day!

Would love to have you join us for our grape stomp with an open-air market, a taco food truck, and live music on Sunday, September 7th! Bob Morrison and Jim Thomas will entertain us while we shop, play lawn games, eat tacos, and stomp grapes! A few tickets for the stomp are still available. The stomp ticket includes a drink!

See below for a full day of events - the only one you need a ticket for is the Library Tasting!!

We created a time capsule on Leap Day, February 29, 2020 and we will continue with that tradition this coming Leap Day, February 29, 2024!

Leap Day Birthday - Were you born on February 29? Show us your ID and receive a complimentary glass of w**e (You must be 21 or older.)

Fence Stile W**e Library Tasting (RSVP - link https://www.localw**eevents.com/view/event/leap-day---library-w**e-tasting/852697). Sample and purchase past vintages of w**e from our library. Available by the glass while supplies last.

6 PM - Leap Year Film Screening - We will screen Leap Year (1 hr. 40 min.) in the Assemblage Room at 6 pm. Watch this cult classic, an Irish-American rom-com where a Celtic tradition allows a tradition to be bypassed just once every 4 years!

Leap Year Cocktail - Order our special Leap Year cocktail to celebrate the occasion.

Leap Year Time Capsule - we will open up the Leap Year Time Capsule to see what treasures were put away 4 years ago and add to it! Write a letter to yourself or jot down a prediction to add to the capsule. Bring a small memento or trinket, or purchase a Love Lock, to store in the time capsule for four years.
We will store the time capsule in the cellar alcove for safekeeping. Guests are invited to return Leap Year in 2028 and watch as we open it.
