In the Cruise Planners world, “getting popcorn” means you’ve hit some pretty big milestones: $1 MILLION in total travel purchases AND $1 MILLION in travel departing during the calendar year. Our official date of hitting this mark was July 23rd 🤯 7 months into the year and we were surpassing $1mil — literally crazy to think about.
When I look at these numbers, I don’t see $1 million in sales.
I see the families who trusted me with their first big vacation. The couples celebrating anniversaries and honeymoons. The Alaska adventures, European vacations, cruises, dive trips, Disney trips and bucket-list experiences that started with a message saying, we’re interested in traveling to X!
I see the clients who came back for trip #2, #3 and beyond. I see every referral and every person who has told someone, “You need to call my travel advisor.”
And I see a business that has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of.
There have been a LOT of late nights, early mornings, research, proposals, flight changes, phone calls, problem solving and behind-the-scenes work to get here. Building a business while moving around with military life hasn’t always been the easiest path, but being able to take this career with me and continue growing it wherever our family goes has made it even more meaningful.
Ultimately, our clients trusted our team with more than $1 MILLION in booked vacations.
I’m talking that hard-earned money. Limited vacation days. Once-in-a-lifetime trips. I don’t take that lightly!!
That trust means far more to me than the number ever could.
So yes, I’m absolutely going to celebrate the popcorn. 🍿😂 even if I have to share it with 2 gremlin children who said “WHO BUY THIS? WHOS YOUR BOSS???” 🤣
But mostly, I’m celebrating every single person who booked, rebooked, referred a friend, joined one of our groups, shared a post or supported our business along the way.
Thank you for helping turn something I love into a business I could have only dreamed of building.
