Tip: Universal offers express passes for additional purchase, helping you to expedite the waiting process, helping you get to the boarding zone quicker - though we didn’t need them this visit!

No. 1 Where have you stayed before?
This helps me understand what you did and didn’t like.

No 2. Which parks will you visit?
Disney has many transportation options, with some resorts having direct access to a mode that will take guests straight to the park.

No 3. Do you want a spread out resort or something with a smaller footprint?
Some of the resorts are contained in a smaller area, while others are spread out in separate buildings.

No 4. Is there a particular theme that interests you?
Disney does a FANTASTIC job when it comes to theming their properties. Your kids love animals? The Animal Kingdom Wilderness Lodge has Savanna views and is themed like a lodge in the heart of Africa.

No 5. What is your ideal price range?
Disney offers three “tiers” of resorts: Deluxe, Moderate, and Value, and each tier has different amenities, from dining options to themed pools to transportation. Knowing your price range ahead of time of time helps me provide options that will fit your family’s needs.

Universal Orlando’s complimentary water taxi service connects four resort hotels directly to the central dock at Universal CityWalk.

These hotels are Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, and Loews Sapphire Falls Resort.

Running continuously every 15-20 minutes, the boat ride takes 5-10 minutes each way. It operates daily, starting 30 to 60 minutes prior to Early Park Admission and not closing until 2:30 AM after CityWalk closes.

The biggest perk?

Guests clear security at the hotel dock before boarding, meaning they get to skip the main entry lines at CityWalk. This saves so much time. Also, every water taxi is fully accessible for both wheelchairs and strollers.
