A community coming together for the families of these young lives cut short.

Here it is, the choice cuts I've been promising. I still have more to go through so check back later. The double header round of Athens Ohio flat track is in the books and a lot of new memories were made for racers and spectators alike. I've tried to not only capture the action shots, but some that also highlight the moments that make flat trackers not only a loosely knit family but that it's also a family affair with riders of all ages across a large list of classes.

Thanks to everyone who came out and made this event one to remember. I spent the better part of two days wandering around snapping photos and talking to fans, riders and promoters. Yet I can't think of a single time I seen anyone without a smile on their face. Just another reason the boys and girls that get down on the roundy round are some of the best riders on earth. Events are treated more like a get together between neighbors where everyone is welcome, than hardcore competitions. That's an atmosphere and tradition to be proud of.
