Its time! We've been teasing for a few months now but its official! The absolutely awesome Amelia Island Guides Association is teaming up with us to add on an inshore youth fishing tournament to their excellent AIGA Inshore Classic - Amelia Island, FL.

All the juicy details!

WHEN: October 24th, 2026, must be in line to weigh in your fish by 4pm at Old Town Bait and Tackle.

WHO: All youth 16 and under are eligible to fish and we'll be awarding Academy gift cards to the top 3 places by weight and trophies to the top 10. There will also be an extra raffle for two more academy gift cards amongst eveyone that weighs a fish!

WHAT FISH: Redfish, Black Drum, Seatrout, Sheepshead, Pompano Whiting.

WHERE: Fishing from shore! All sand, docks, bridges, creeks, rocks are acceptable as long as feet are on the ground.

We'll be putting the sign up link up on the event page as well as down in the comments! Since this is a new tournament if there are any sponsors out there that be interested in contributing to the youth prizes or the silent auction please reach out! We'd love to add as much as possible and make this an incredible day for the kids!

Great weather and charter guests yesterday! The high tide allowed us to ease into the back of Beach Creek to the Dungeonness ruins for a great view of the wild horses and an alligator looking for a spot to soak up the sun during the high tide. GSX Powerboats by Glasstream

Very fortunate to have had the opportunity to connect with Lindhe Xtend when they expanded into the US. Saltwater-proof components are truly life changing! I’ve been wearing their Lindhe foot and quick connect eve since. For years, I had to wear the “peg leg” on the boat or in the water including becoming a charter boat captain and coxswain the USCG AUX. Saltwater-proof prosthetic components did not exist. Looking forward to trying their Fri foot next with built in torque and shock absorption. Lindhe Xtend Group

Reel Pirate II prepped and ready to go for a private burial at sea charter this afternoon. We’ll be hosting four of the family members aboard. All cushions and both side curtains are installed just in case wind/spray protection is needed for the voyage. GSX Powerboats by Glasstream

Coming in 2026, No Limits Charters, LLC will be running sunset or sunrise charters depending on the seasons of the year. Tentatively starting in April. Whether it’s in the calm of dawn or golden hour of sunset, nothing beats watching it on the water.
