There's a kitchen in the hills between Montepulciano and Pienza that feels like the heart of the whole house. Open, unhurried, filled with whatever came out of the garden that morning. Five farmhouses here date back to 1622, restored slowly and carefully, and it shows in every stone and beam.

So many of our travelers tell us Lupaia is their favorite stay in Tuscany. We understand why.
