The Hancock County History Mural is underway! 🎨✨🇺🇸

This collaborative project between the Hancock Historical Museum, Awakening Minds Art, Visit Findlay, and The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation celebrates America 250 while honoring the story of Hancock County. Soon, it will feature interactive hidden symbols, educational elements, and a photo spot where you can become part of local history.

Community Paint Days are open, and volunteers are still needed to help bring it all to life! No experience required, just show up ready to paint, learn, and be part of something meaningful.

🇺🇸 🎶 Celebrate America 250 with an evening of community fun at Riverside Park! Join friends and neighbors on Wednesday, June 24 from 5–7 PM for a Community Picnic featuring food trucks, inflatables, souvenirs, and more!

Then stick around for a special performance by the Findlay Civic Concert Band as they take the stage at 7 PM in the Allen P. Dudley Memorial Bandshell for their 75th anniversary concert. 🎶🌳

🌳🇺🇸 As part of America 250's June theme, Exploring Ohio's Natural Resources, Visit Findlay met with Hancock Park District Naturalist Michelle Rumschlag to learn more about the landscapes, habitats, and historic places that help tell our region's story.

In this conversation, Michelle shares how these landscapes have shaped our region's history, connected generations of residents to the outdoors, and continue to serve as places to learn, gather, and explore. From the diverse ecosystems found throughout the park district to historic sites like the McKinnis House, we're fortunate to have such a rich variety of natural and cultural resources right here in our backyard.

Get ready, race fans! 🏁 The 2026 season kicks off at Millstream Speedway this Sunday, June 14th, as Ohio Sprint Speedweek rolls into Findlay with the All-Star Circuit of Champions and B.O.S.S. Non-Wing Sprint Cars taking over the dirt.

**June 10th, Night Jazz has been moved inside at MCPA ** 🎶🌳 The Riverside Civic Concert Series kicks off tonight returning to Riverside Park with six weeks of free performances from area civic and community bands, beginning at 7 PM each Wednesday from June 10–July 15.
