Some things you should know about traveling to Bali. ๐
Throughout the entire booking process for my travel clients Bali Birthday & Anniversary Getaway we stayed in communication the whole time to ensure a trip to remember in the best way! ๐๐ฝ
So if you are booking your own trip & Bali is on that bucket list, you might not know whats next after the confirmation email. Here are some things that should be done Before your trip (1โ2 weeks & 1โ2 days before departure) โ๏ธ
1โ2 Weeks Before:
โ
Double-check passport validity (must be valid 6+ months from arrival date).
โ
Confirm travel insurance details.
โ
Verify visa information โ if youโre doing Visa on Arrival, have USD 35 cash or card ready. (My clients did theirs online, saved time)
โ
Review flight details & baggage allowance.
โ
Exchange or order some Indonesian Rupiah (cash helps for tips & small shops). (My client had someone come to their villa for the exchange)
โ
Download WhatsApp โ itโs widely used in Bali for communication.
โ
Pack light, breathable clothes, swimwear, and respectful outfits for temples (shoulders & knees covered).
โ
Bring sunscreen, bug spray, and a reusable water bottle (hydration is key in Bali heat).
โ
Power adapter type: C / F (European plug) โ good to bring a universal adapter.
โ
Save local emergency contacts (hotel, embassy info, use me as your travel agent-get access to me, yes during your trip, etc.)
1-2 Days Before Departure:
โ๏ธ Check in for flights online & download boarding passes once available.
๐งณ Weigh luggage before leaving home.
๐ณ Notify your bank of international travel.
๐ฑ Screenshot/print all booking confirmations.
๐ง Start hydrating and getting plenty of rest before the long flight. (My clients flights were out of Miami the flight was LONG ๐คฃ)
Stay tuned, Iโll share some of the amazing itinerary of my clients Bali Getaway, including their night life, the beautiful swim out Villa, the popular Bali Swing, their amazing private driver, and so much more!
