He’s not just here for the vibes, this Fort Pierce pelican is a precision fisherman. 🐟

While you’re figuring out dinner plans, he’s already scooped his sushi straight from the lagoon. 🍣

➡️ Did you know brown pelicans can spot fish from 60 feet in the air? Then they nosedive like a pro to scoop them up with that iconic pouch?

They’re not just part of the view—they’re part of the show.

And yes, he is judging your casting form. 🎣

🦅 Holding down the fort—literally.
This bald eagle pair has made their nest high in the pines along the Indian River Lagoon, returning year after year to the same 60-foot perch.

We caught them on the Chop Cam 📸
Standing guard like true locals. And while nesting season technically ends in May, sightings like this happen all the time. You never know who you’ll spot out there.

⁉️ Ever seen a bald eagle in the wild? Let us know in the comments!

Some people think it’s a flamingo. It’s not.

The Roseate Spoonbill is a rare Florida native that gets its pink color from crustaceans in its diet — and uses its unique spoon-shaped bill to feel for food in shallow waters.

We’re lucky enough to see them on our wildlife tours in Fort Pierce. And yes — they really are that pink.

🛥️ Our tours are family-friendly, group-ready, and a perfect mix of relaxing + educational.
📞 Call 772-464-4445 to reserve your seat.🐬 Group rates available for schools, camps, and private bookings.
Tag a bird lover. Tag a teacher. Tag someone who still thinks this is a flamingo.
