Our annual Pilgrimage to Vilnius will begin early this year and go from Sept 29-Oct 8. Signature encounters and excursions hosted by the finest people of Vilnius and Białystok. We do not travel as tourists, but we go across the world as pilgrim-friends to venerate the Original Image of Divine Mercy at the Divine Mercy Shrine in Vilnius and see all the places where Saint Faustina, Fr. Michael Sopoćko, and Eugeniusz Kazimirowski lived out their epic story. Stay tuned to this page for updates and a simultaneous virtual tour as we go. And don't forget to tune in at 12:00 noon (EDT) to EWTM for Mass on Oct 5, the Feast Day of Saint Faustina, for our live broadcast from the Divine Mercy Shrine in Vilnius.

Vilnius makes the top 5!

After visiting every capital city in Europe, I think places such as Bucharest and Lisbon are must-visits, but I'd skip London and Helsinki next time.

Tomorrow, the Feast day of Blessed Fr. Michael Sopoćko will be a very special day for Artist Professor Eugeniusz Kazimirowski, the artist who painted the Original Image of Divine Mercy.

Eugeniusz Kazimirowski, the artist who painted the Original Image of Divine Mercy, and friend of Blessed Fr. Michael Sopoćko, was also a veteran of the fight for Polish freedom and independence. Tomorrow, Feb 15, the Feast Day of Blessed Fr. Michael Sopocko, The Institute of Polish Remembrance and the Archdiocese of Białystok will be installing a new headstone at Kazimirowski’s grave. The Original Divine Mercy Institute will be there for this auspicious event. Today, 14 February 2025, marks the first observance of Home Army Soldiers National Remembrance Day. The commemoration was enacted by the Polish Parliament on 9 January 2025, in tribute to the soldiers of the Home Army – the largest underground resistance force engaged in a heroic struggle to regain the Republic of Poland's sovereignty and independence during World War II.

December 6-7, 2024
We will come together to share experiences of our journeys from persecution to religious freedom. We will worship and celebrate our Catholic Faith! Four prelates will speak on the history of Lithuanian Catholicism, spreading the Gospel of Christ, teachings of the Catholic Church, and assimilating in parishes of diverse cultures. Friday evening, author/director Daniel diSilva will present the groundbreaking documentary, The Original Image of Divine Mercy, showing how God’s Divine Mercy continues to overflow from Vilnius out into the whole world. Saturday evening, "An Evening with Mary" Gala in honor of the homeland’s Marian images: Our Lady of Siluva, Ausros Vartus, Dievo Motina, and Mother of God of Trakai. The weekend event will conclude with a solemn Mass celebrated by Gintaras Grusas, Archbishop of Vilnius, and concelebrated by Lithuanian priests from abroad. Come and join us for this rare opportunity, celebrating the journey of faith of all Lithuanian-American Catholics!

Pilgrimages to the City of Mercy

Since making the groundbreaking documentary about the Original Image of Divine Mercy, filmmaker Daniel diSilva and his team have been taking small groups on pilgrimage to venerate Saint Faustina's Masterpiece of Mercy in Vilnius (Lithuania).
