Meet the Teacher: Miss Marissa ✨

Miss Marissa has been immersed in dance since the age of three, training in various styles of dance. As the years progressed, she attended numerous summer programs to further her training.

She graduated from the SUNY Purchase College Conservatory of Dance with a BFA in Dance and a BA in Arts Management. She received rigorous conservatory-style training and performed in works by Tamisha A. Guy, Doug Varone, and Bill T. Jones. Currently, she is a company artist with Nova Linea Contemporary Dance.

Outside of teaching, Miss Marissa enjoys drawing, spending time with family/friends, and reading.

"Teaching dance brings me joy because I get to watch students grow, explore new movement, and challenge themselves in ways they never thought possible."

It's such a joy being a part of your child's first dance memories, and we want you to be a part of all the fun during our 6-Week Mini Session III! Parent and Tot classes are available Tuesdays at 10:15am, Wednesdays at 5:15pm, or Saturdays at 9:00am.

Only 9 more days to Give the Gift of Dance to someone new to the studio! 🎁

We have gift cards for you to grab at the front desk, and can be used as a GIFT to someone who is not currently attending NSDS!

This gift card gives them a full month of group classes (not valid for mini sessions and classes with openings only, up to $74 value) at no cost to them. All you need to do is write your name and theirs on the back of the gift card and give it to them. They can call us, stop by NSDS or go online to register for the group class of their choice.

Please make sure to have them mention they have the "Gift of Dance" postcard.
If they choose to register after their free month, and are enrolled for 2 months, you both will be eligible for the NSDS referral program credit!

They must be enrolled by January 15th, 2025. This offer is for NEW students only.
