Recent Renovations & Updates
During the 2023 dry dock, Carnival Freedom received routine hotel maintenance, cosmetic enhancements, new carpeting and tiling in lounges and public areas, the red, white, and blue hull design, a new funnel, Dreams Studio in the Atrium, an expanded casino, Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, JavaBlue Cafe, and a dedicated pickleball court.
During the 2019 dry dock, WaterWorks replaced the Twister waterslide, Bonsai Sushi Express was added, 324 berths were added, retail space was expanded, the mini golf course was moved to Deck 11 aft, a solarium was added to Deck 12 aft, and ADA updates were completed.
During the 2014 dry dock, Carnival Freedom received several Fun 2.0 features, including Guy’s Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, RedFrog Rum Bar, BlueIguana Tequila Bar, Alchemy Bar, Cherry on Top, RedFrog Pub, Playlist Productions, Seuss at Sea, Camp Ocean, and more.
This ship has a lot of history and a lot to offer. I’m looking forward to seeing the Carnival Freedom sailing from Norfolk.
