Day 4 and this one is hard to beat… we’re anchored at Windstar’s private motu 🌴
A quick 5-minute boat ride from the ship and you’re stepping onto the island with the warmest Tahitian welcome.
The water here is that unreal, crystal-clear turquoise you always hope for… and somehow it’s even better in person.
What I loved most about today:
• The island is small and easy to explore… you can walk the entire thing
• Loungers everywhere… both in the sun and tucked under the palms for shade
• A fully stocked tiki bar (yes, they keep the drinks coming 🍹)
• A surprisingly great barbecue lunch… fresh, flavorful, and relaxed
• Water toys ready to go… paddleboards, kayaks, snorkeling right off the beach
• Stingrays gliding right by you
A few things that really make this experience special (and why this itinerary stands out):
• This isn’t a crowded “private island” situation… it’s like your own little slice of French Polynesia
• The ship stays nearby, so you have full flexibility to come and go as you please
• Everything is seamlessly handled… no stress, no planning, just show up and enjoy
• It’s the kind of experience that’s hard to piece together on your own without a cruise like this
And honestly… days like this are exactly why I’m so selective about what I recommend. Not all “tropical vacations” are created equal.
If something like this is on your list, I’ll help you choose the right sailing, the right cabin, and make sure every detail is handled so your trip actually feels this easy when you get here 🤍
