🏴☠️ A MESSAGE FROM THE PIRATE — GOD PUT ME IN MY LANE 🏴☠️
Ahoy, mates! Since we have many new faces joining this page, I want to share something that has always been at the heart of Pirate of Carnival Cruise.
God gives each of us a different lane to walk in.
Some are called to serve inside churches. Some feed the homeless. Some visit hospitals. Some work with children. Some travel overseas on mission trips.
And me?
God put this pirate on a cruise ship. 🏴☠️⚓
I sometimes hear people say, “Why bless people on cruise ships? Those people already have money.”
But that simply isn’t true.
Not everyone standing on that deck is wealthy. Some families save for years to take one vacation. Some people are celebrating surviving something nobody else knows about. Some are grieving. Some are struggling financially but saved enough to give their children a special memory. Some may never be able to afford another cruise again.
And yes, some people aboard are financially successful.
Does that mean they don’t need kindness?
Does that mean they don’t need encouragement?
Does that mean they don’t need Jesus?
God never told me to check someone’s bank account before showing them love.
When I give a child a toy, surprise someone with dinner, help with an excursion, hand somebody a gift, make a stranger laugh, or simply sit down and listen to someone who needs a friend, I don’t ask whether they’re rich or poor.
I see a person.
Sometimes the greatest blessing isn’t what I put into someone’s hand. It’s the conversation that happens afterward.
A cruise ship carries thousands of people from different cities, states, countries, backgrounds and walks of life. To some people it’s simply a vacation.
To me, it’s a mission field floating on the ocean. ⚓❤️
I don’t believe we are called to spend our time judging where somebody else serves. We were called to serve.
If God puts someone else’s mission on a street corner, praise God.
If He puts yours in a hospital, praise God.
If He puts another person’s in a classroom, a prison, a shelter or a church, praise God.
And if God tells this old pirate to put on his hat, board a ship, love some strangers, make some children smile and remind people that God hasn’t forgotten them…
Then this pirate is getting on that ship. 🏴☠️
I don’t do this so people can see what I have.
I do it so perhaps, through one little act of kindness, someone might see who God is.
He’s a God who accepts everyone, even if you are successful, you do not have to be weak, sick ill, and broke or poor to get into heaven.
Jesus came for everyone.

So whether ye have ten dollars in your pocket or ten million…
there’s room for you at this pirate’s table.
No judgment.
No financial test.
No perfect-life requirement.
Just kindness, laughter, fellowship and love.
Because at the end of the voyage, treasure isn’t measured by what’s inside the chest.
It’s measured by the lives we touched along the way. ❤️🏴☠️
Choose Kindness.
And never forget:
I love you, but God loves you more. 🙏❤️
