🍁🚢 Terri’s Travel Adventures Continue! Next Stop: Nova Scotia, Canada! 🇨🇦

Our very own Terri, owner of Geneva Travel & Cruise, is continuing to share highlights from her beautiful fall cruise aboard the Regent Seven Seas Splendor!

🍂 Sydney, Nova Scotia!

Did you know that Nova Scotia means “New Scotland”? Terri learned this fun fact during her visit, and with the gorgeous scenery and landscapes, she could certainly see the resemblance to Scotland!

It was a picture-perfect fall day filled with beautiful views, sightseeing, and a wonderful guided tour that included a fantastic lunch at the Saltwater Social Raw Bar. They focus on never-fried, flavor-forward dishes using local ingredients. Menu highlights include Atlantic oysters, steamed mussels, smoked salmon board, and a lobster roll with large claw pieces.

⚓ Next Stop: Halifax, Nova Scotia!

Terri also enjoyed exploring Halifax, where her tour included a visit to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. One of the most fascinating and emotional parts of her visit was learning more about the Titanic disaster and Halifax’s important connection to this historic tragedy.

Terri learned that many victims of the Titanic disaster were brought to Halifax and laid to rest in local cemeteries. She even had the opportunity to visit one of these cemeteries during her tour.

Another memorable part of her visit was learning about the devastating Halifax Explosion of 1917, a tragic event that left a lasting impact on the city and its history.

🍁🚢 Travel Adventures with Terri: Saint John, New Brunswick! 🇨🇦

Our Geneva Travel & Cruise owner, Terri, continues sharing her adventures aboard the beautiful Regent Seven Seas Splendor! Her latest stop brought her to Saint John, New Brunswick, where the gorgeous fall foliage made for some picture-perfect moments! 🍂🍁

Terri enjoyed strolling around, taking in the autumn scenery, and, of course, discovering some delicious local cuisine!

🦞🍟 A Foodie Find Worth Sharing! Terri stopped for lunch at a charming pub Gahan House Nova Centre and enjoyed a delicious lobster roll and poutine. And let’s just say, the poutine earned a 10/10 from Terri! If you’re planning a visit, she highly recommends adding this foodie stop to your list!

🥂 A Fun Tradition at Sea!

Another highlight of Terri’s journey was experiencing Regent’s onboard “Block Party!” During this fun tradition, the ship’s captain, along with Regent’s CEO, who happened to be sailing on this voyage, started on the top deck and made their way down to Deck 6, stopping to toast guests along the way!

What a wonderful way to bring everyone together and create special memories while cruising! 🥂🚢

From breathtaking fall colors and delicious local food to memorable experiences aboard the ship, Terri is certainly making the most of her autumn cruise adventure!

Our very own Terri is soaking up the sights, flavors, and beautiful fall colors of NYC! 🍂✨

There’s something magical about New York City in autumn, especially when the leaves begin changing colors in Central Park! Terri spent the day exploring the beautiful scenery of Central Park, taking in the hustle and bustle of Times Square, and, of course, enjoying some iconic New York City food!

🥯 What’s a trip to NYC without an authentic New York bagel?

Terri made a delicious stop at Liberty Bagels | Home of the Rainbow Bagel Liberty Bagels, a local favorite known for its traditional, hand-rolled, kettle-boiled bagels made fresh daily!

What started as one rustic bagel shop has grown into multiple NYC locations, famous for their colorful Rainbow Bagel, signature Liberty Bagel, delicious breakfast sandwiches, homemade cream cheese spreads, and freshly brewed coffee. A must-try for bagel lovers visiting the Big Apple! 🥯☕️

Geneva Travel & Cruise is looking for a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented individual to join our team in downtown Geneva!

This part-time position will primarily provide administrative support to our travel advisors and clients, with the opportunity to learn more about the exciting travel industry and eventually assist with vacation planning and bookings.

✨ WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
✈️ Preparing travel documents and itineraries
🌎 Assisting with reservations, research, and bookings
📞 Answering phones and communicating with clients
🗂️ Maintaining client files and reservation details
💻 Supporting our travel advisors with daily administrative tasks
🏝️ Learning more about the travel industry as you grow with our team!

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

✔️ Friendly, professional, and customer-service focused
✔️ Organized with excellent attention to detail
✔️ Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and learning new programs
✔️ Able to multitask and meet deadlines
✔️ Dependable, personable, and eager to learn
✔️ Previous travel agency or booking experience is a plus, but NOT required!

📍 POSITION DETAILS:

⏰ Part-time | Approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility for up to 25 hours
📅 Monday–Friday | Daytime hours | NO weekends!

🍂 What a beautiful fall evening in downtown Geneva!

Geneva Travel & Cruise was proud to be a Supporting Sponsor of the 8th Annual Autumn Fest Geneva Self-Guided Jack O’ Lantern Walk. 🎃

It was wonderful to see more than 90 local businesses come together for this special community event. From all of the creative pumpkin displays to the families filling the streets and exploring downtown, there was so much energy throughout Geneva — and we couldn’t have asked for more perfect fall weather!

We love being part of community-focused events like Autumn Fest and supporting the incredible small businesses that make Geneva such a special place to live, visit, shop, and dine.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make this year’s Autumn Fest such a memorable evening! This entire event is planned each year by Kristen Cornelio.
