📣ATTENTION MUSHERS SIGNING UP FOR THE CB300📣

We have changed our registration process to make it smoother for you. When you go to the registration page you will select ‘ADD TO CART’ (image 1). The registration form will pop up and you will fill that out (image 2) and verify ‘ADD TO CART.’ You will then check out with payment.

Underneath the registration form is a form to submit a photo of yourself. You MUST submit a photo to be registered. These will be shared on our social media accounts.

🗓️Registration opens 10 am on Saturday, October 3rd

Under the registration form and the photo form you will find the Race Withdrawal Form. If you need to drop out of the CB300 for any reason you need to submit this form through the website. We will not accept withdrawals via mail.

There’s always work to be done for the CB300. The Board met to bundle race trail markers so they are easier to take out when trail breaking!

Race registration will open for the Copper Basin 300 website on Saturday, October 3rd at 10 am. There will be 40 spots available and we will have a waitlist. The 2027 CB300 will take place January 9-12 with vet checks and race registration on January 8th. We can’t wait to see who signs up!

We have been getting messages asking when the 2027 Copper Basin 300 will be happening and we’re excited to announce that the race will be January 9-12 with race registration, vet checks, and musher meeting happening Friday, January 8th and the banquet on January 12th. Stay tuned for further updates about when we will be opening registration.

Copper Basin 300 Board members Donna Russell-Swope and Nathan Helmer, as well as CB300 race judge Eric Kelly attended a get together hosted by David A. Pike Pike Dog Wellness to celebrate their expanded partnerships. Pike Dog Wellness sponsors the CB300 Pike Dog Wellness Veterinarian’s Choice Award and at this event they announced their new partnership with the CB100, along with other races. We are thankful for this extended partnership and the time to celebrate with the community!

The dogs and I had a great time at the Copper Basin 100! These men and women really know how to put on a dog race! This was definitely the toughest 100 mile race you’ll ever compete in. If you weren’t going up a hill, you were going down one haha. Such a fun environment to be in and some amazing sponsors and volunteers. I would like to thank Alaska Rod's for a beautiful knife, Sourdough Creek Outfitters for some amazing leather goods and Eureka Lodge for hosting us, same for Gunsight Mtn Lodge.

There was a lot of excellent sportsmanship demonstrated on the trail so much so that we had several contenders with multiple nominations but the winner of the CB100 sportsmanship award is Noah Spies
