While out and about in downtown Grafton today, we had the pleasure of meeting Justin Bollini, the new owner of The Grumpy Grizzly - Grafton, IL— a must-visit stop along the Great River Road!

Located right in the heart of Grafton, The Grumpy Grizzly is a unique blend of working wood shop and curated boutique, featuring handcrafted treasures from talented local artists and artisans. We were lucky enough to meet two of them today:

🎨 Joe Boden, a St. Louis-based graphic artist and illustrator of JB Design & Illustration, showed us some of his incredible work specializing in fine-detail pencil drawings of historical buildings, landmarks, and iconic sports scenes.

🪑 We also met Michael of Wooden Wonders, a gifted furniture craftsman whose work is both functional and heirloom-worthy. From hand-built tables to custom wood pieces, his artistry is a perfect blend of rustic-meets-modern vibe..
