The Sweetwater #2350 Fraternal Order of Eagles Fall Vendor Event started this afternoon. No admission to attend . This event includes Vendors, Crafters and Food Trucks. The event will also be hosted tomorrow from 9am to 4pm. They are located at 88 N 2nd East Green River. The proceeds from the raffles will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wyoming. Stop by and support this wonderful event.

The 7th Annual Riverside Nursery Harvest Festival kicked off today. You can still join the fun Friday, September 25th from 4pm to 9pm and Saturday, September 26th from Noon to 9pm. Admission is $5.00 per person or $20.00 per family. Bounce Houses, vendors, food trucks, train rides, haunted gardens, the witch's cottage, kiddie maze, live music, corn pit, Photo booths, face painting, pumpkin patch and FFA Petting Zoo(Saturday). Laura and her team have once again created an amazing community event you don't want to miss!

Sweetwater County would like to warn drivers of ever changing conditions on our county roads. This morning we were made aware that County Road #7 (Old Stauffer Road), was partially washed out, approximately 1 ½ miles north of Sisecam, by the storm cell that moved through northern Sweetwater County early last night. The section of CR #7 from the intersection of County Road #6 OCI Entrance Road to County Road #4 Big Island Road will remain closed until further notice.

Other roads may have been damaged that haven’t been identified yet. We caution those out hunting and exploring our wide open spaces to be aware of these changing road conditions and if a hazard does exist, please call the SWCO Road and Bridge Office at 307-922-5415 or the Public Works Department at 307-872-3920.
