It is ninety degrees outside today, but this is what is waiting for us in a few short weeks. Peak fall color usually settles over Greeneville and these Appalachian foothills toward the end of October, and honestly, we cannot wait!๐Ÿ‚

Here is your sign to start planning now, before the good weekends fill up. Walk our historic downtown under a canopy of gold and red, then build your trip around everything else fall brings to Greene County this year, our brand new Appalachian Autumn Festival, a scenic ride at BRAGCo (Bike Ride Around Greene County), pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and all the small-town traditions that make this season special here.

Mark your calendar. Greeneville in peak fall color is worth the drive.

What fall activity are you most excited for this year? Tell us below.๐ŸŽƒ

Greene County is the kind of East Tennessee weekend that keeps surprising you.

You can spend the morning walking through presidential history in downtown Greeneville, then head toward the Cherokee National Forest for waterfalls, mountain views, and that slower pace that makes a weekend feel like a real reset.

There are local food stops, a downtown worth wandering, and stories here that most people have never heard; like the State of Franklin, Americaโ€™s rejected 14th state.

It is an easy trip to plan, but it does not feel like the same weekend you have done a hundred times.

Introducing Monday Lunch Club!๐Ÿด

A lot of our local restaurants are closed on Mondays, which means lunch options can be pretty slim. So we're bringing food trucks to you instead. Twice a month, we're inviting a lineup of local food trucks to set up in the Greene County Partnership parking lot at 115 Academy St. so you still have a great place to grab lunch!

Join us August 10 and August 24, and mark your calendar because Monday Lunch Club is sticking around for the rest of the year.

Here's who's serving on August 10:
๐Ÿ– Juicy Butts BBQ, 11am to 6pm
๐Ÿ“ Berried Treasure, 10am to 2pm
๐Ÿ‹ Easy Peasy Lemonade, 11am to 3pm

August 24 trucks will be announced soon, so stay tuned!

Come hungry and bring a friend or coworker!
