Come explore Switzerland with me this week! 🏔️🚂🍫

One of the things I love about travel is discovering how much more there is to a destination than the picture we have in our heads.

Switzerland? I immediately think snow-capped Alps, beautiful lakes and storybook villages. 😍

But did you know Switzerland has four official languages? German, French, Italian and Romansh. And as you travel through the country, you'll discover different regional influences, traditions, foods and cultures.

That's exactly what we're diving into this week in our Adventures by Disney Facebook group!

I'm one of the moderators of the group along with several other travel advisors from our agency, and each week we choose a different Adventures by Disney destination to explore.

This week we're headed to Switzerland! 🇨🇭

We'll be talking about the Alps, incredible Swiss train journeys, charming villages, food and traditions, and some of the ways Adventures by Disney helps travelers experience the people, culture and stories behind all that beautiful scenery.

And you absolutely do not have to be planning an Adventures by Disney vacation to join us.

If you simply love travel, enjoy learning about new destinations, or like collecting ideas for that someday trip, come explore with us! ❤️

We explore somewhere different each week, so who knows where we'll take you next. 🌎✨

I came across this photo today, and on Small Business Saturday, those words feel especially fitting.

Today, some very special repeat clients of mine are setting sail aboard the Disney Treasure for a seven-night Disney Cruise Line vacation. 🚢✨

They’ve trusted me with multiple vacations over the years, including several Disney cruises, and as I was thinking about them heading off on another adventure today, I was reminded of something I never want to take for granted.

Without my clients, I don’t have a business.

I may get to help with the planning, answer the questions, work through the details and hopefully help “make a little magic” along the way…
But YOU are the reason I get to do this. 💜

Every client who has trusted me with a vacation. Every repeat client who comes back and says, “Where are we going next?”

Every person who refers a friend or family member to me. Every person who shares my name when someone mentions they’re thinking about a trip.

It all matters.

Travel is personal. You’re trusting me with your vacation days, your celebrations, your honeymoons, your family memories, and sometimes trips you’ve dreamed about for years.

That trust means more to this small business owner than you probably realize.

So today I’m celebrating my travelers as they set sail aboard the Disney Treasure, and I’m also saying a huge THANK YOU to every single person who has supported my small business along the way.

Whether I’ve planned one vacation for you or ten, whether you’ve referred someone to me, or you’re simply here following along and cheering me on…

Thank you for allowing me to keep “Making Magic.” 💜✨

And to my travelers setting sail today…

Bon voyage! Have the BEST time aboard the Disney Treasure! 🚢🏝️✨

🎃 Thinking you missed your chance for a fall Disney getaway? Not necessarily!

We're officially heading into September, but there's still plenty of Halloween magic ahead at Walt Disney World. 🧡

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party continues on select nights all the way through October 31, which means there is still time to squeeze in a last-minute fall getaway.

And I have to admit...
There's something about Walt Disney World Resort dressed for fall that I absolutely LOVE. 🎃🏰

The decorations. The pumpkins. The atmosphere. And if you add Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, it becomes an entirely different experience.

So if you've been seeing everyone's fall Disney pictures and thinking...

"Why didn't we plan that?"

We can still look. 😂

If a spontaneous fall Disney trip sounds pretty good right about now, send me a message and I'll see what possibilities are still out there. 🧡✨

🏰 Today’s the day!

Disneyland Resort vacation packages are now available!

If Disneyland has been on your family's wish list, today is a great day to start planning.

And having just returned from Disneyland myself, I have to say…this destination is fresh on my mind. ❤️

Disneyland is a very different experience from Walt Disney World—and understanding those differences can make a BIG difference in how you plan your vacation.

The parks are incredibly close together. Park hopping is easy.

Many hotels are within walking distance. And for families with little ones, being able to take a quick midday break for a nap, pool time, or simply a reset can be a game changer.

Plus, there's the magic of being in the original Disney park—the one Walt himself opened in 1955. There really is something special about that.

Vacation packages are available beginning today, August 25, 2026.

If you're thinking about a Disneyland vacation, I'd love to help you figure out:

🏨 Where to stay
🎟️ How many park days you need
🏰 How to structure your time
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 What makes the most sense for your family
✨ And how to make the most of your time in the parks
I was just there—and I'm bringing that firsthand experience home with me. 💜

Thinking about Disneyland? Send me a message and let's start planning. 🏰✨

✨ Is a Disney Private VIP Tour worth it?

That’s a question I hear a lot.

And after experiencing a Private VIP Tour firsthand, I can tell you that the answer isn’t simply “yes” or “no.”

It depends on what you value.

For us, one of the biggest benefits was time.

Being able to move efficiently through the parks, spend less time waiting, and have the flexibility to focus on the experiences that mattered most made a noticeable difference.

I’ve included a comparison of some of the standby wait times versus how long we actually waited during our tour.

But here’s the important part:

A VIP Tour isn’t simply about skipping lines.

It’s about how you want to experience your Disney day.

For some families, the value may be maximizing attractions.

For others, it may be reducing the stress of navigating the parks.

For families traveling with young children, multigenerational groups, or travelers who simply want a more personalized experience, the value can look completely different.

That’s why I don’t believe in recommending a VIP Tour simply because it’s the “best” option.

My job is to understand what matters to YOU and determine whether it’s the right fit.

That’s what thoughtful travel planning is all about. 💜

💜 Two years.

Two years ago, in July, I took a leap into something I wasn’t completely sure I could do.

I knew I loved travel.

I knew I loved planning.

I knew I could spend hours researching, comparing, organizing, and dreaming about a trip long before we ever took it.

What I didn’t know was whether I could turn that passion into a business.

Two years later, I can honestly say this journey has become so much more than I ever imagined.

I’ve learned more than I thought possible.

I’ve grown in my confidence and my knowledge.

I’ve met incredible people.

I’ve traveled to places that have given me firsthand experience I can bring home to my clients.

And I’ve had the privilege of helping families and couples plan some of the trips they’ve been dreaming about for years.

And getting to celebrate my two-year anniversary at Disneyland, surrounded by my Dream Team family, wearing our matching jerseys? Pretty perfect. 🏰💜

I’m incredibly grateful for this agency, for the people I’ve met along the way, and especially for every single person who has trusted me with their travel plans.

Thank you for following along, cheering me on, referring your friends and family, liking, commenting, sharing, and trusting me with your vacation dreams.

Two years in, and I can honestly say…

I still love this.

And I’m just getting started. ✨

🚢 What if the ship is part of the vacation?

When you’re choosing a cruise, it’s easy to focus on the itinerary.

Where are we going?

What ports will we visit?

How many days are we sailing?

But there’s another question worth asking:

How do you want to feel while you’re getting there?

Your ship, stateroom, dining, entertainment, service and onboard experiences can all play a huge part in the vacation itself.

And with Disney Cruise Line, the ship isn’t simply the way you get from one destination to another.

It’s part of the experience.

From waking up with coffee on your veranda, to incredible dining and entertainment, to those little moments you didn’t plan for but end up remembering long after the cruise is over…

The ship becomes part of the vacation story.

That’s why I don’t believe choosing a cruise should be based on itinerary alone.

The right ship + the right itinerary + the right accommodations can completely change the experience.

And sometimes, the ship itself becomes one of your favorite parts of the trip. ✨

If you had to choose, what matters more to you?

🚢 An incredible ship
🌎 An incredible itinerary

✨ What happens when you slow down and look at Disneyland through a different lens?

One of the highlights of my Disneyland training experience was taking part in A Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary Guided Tour.
I’ve only visited Disneyland twice, so I certainly don’t consider myself someone who knows every corner of the park. 😂 That’s actually what made this experience so meaningful.

Instead of simply experiencing Disneyland as a guest, we stepped back and looked at it through the lens of its history.

We learned more about Walt Disney’s original vision, heard stories from Disneyland’s early days, and walked through the park seeing some of the attractions that have been part of its story since opening day.

There’s just something special about standing in a park that Walt Disney himself walked through, dreamed about, and brought to life.

Standing there and realizing how much of that original vision is still woven into Disneyland today was pretty incredible.

And then there was the fun part… doing it alongside our Dream Team advisors in our matching jerseys, laughing, learning, taking pictures, and making memories along the way. 💜

This is one of the things I love about travel training. I don’t just want to visit a destination. I want to understand it.

Because the more I learn firsthand, the better I can help my clients decide what is worth their time, what experiences might be meaningful to their family, and how to make the most of their vacation.

Sometimes you visit a place.

And sometimes you get to see it a little differently.

This was definitely the second. ✨
