Echo Adventure Cooperative, Inc.

Echo Adventure Cooperative, Inc. Worker owned CoOp providing a wide array of adventure products and services! Ummm, what!?!

Echo is a collective board worker cooperative corporation that provides at-cost services for member benefit! In short, Echo's employees are Echo's owners and the company does not generate a profit! Other than that, and our rigorous social and environmental standards, we are the same as a traditional store, hotel and guiding service!

We want to know your thoughts! Are you excited by the expansion of fishing in Yosemite!

Anglers have more access in the park, including the chance to fish in Hetch Hetchy.

Here’s to the future moms imagining family portraits in front of Half Dome and marshmallows by the campfire. 🔥

Here’s to the moms who pack the snacks, plan the road trips, point out wildflowers, and teach their kiddos to appreciate the outdoors.🌲💚

And here’s to the moms rediscovering themselves after the kids leave the nest; finding new trails, new passions, and a little more time for themselves along the way. 🏕️✨

Happy Mother’s Day to the moms who make adventure possible, whether on the trail, around the campfire, or back at home. We hope your day is filled with fresh air, good coffee, and people who love you well. 🌼

There is no such thing as a grey day in Yosemite National Park! Most people chase bluebird skies here, but the park comes alive when the weather rolls in.

Waterfalls swell and roar. Mist hangs in the valley like something out of a dream. The granite gets darker, moodier, more dramatic. And the crowds? They thin out fast.

Don’t believe us? Look at those smiles ❤️

We’re proud to announce a new partnership with the Yosemite Bear Recovery & Culinary Enrichment Program (YBRCEP) 🐻

After years of human food exposure, many bears have developed… refined palates. Our goal is to reintroduce them to a “balanced, foraged-forward diet” through intentional culinary training. Please consider supporting our effort through the following donations:

Donation List
- Family-size bags of salmon-flavored dog food (grain-free, obviously)
- Lightly used Yeti coolers (they know how to open the cheap ones)
- Organic artichokes (trimmed, bears hate to get poked in the snout)
- Costco packs of rotisserie chickens (no substitutions)
- Unopened jars of manuka honey (they can tell the difference)
- Half-eaten Clif Bars
- Sparkling water (we’re cutting them back on soda)

Please call first to ensure donations are still open and please do not leave items unattended at the shop as we are working on consent-based food interactions only.
