Today is Flu shot and more 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

💉✅ Boostrix is a Tdap vaccine that protects against:

* Tetanus
* Diphtheria
* Pertussis (whooping cough)

It is commonly recommended as a booster every 10 years and is especially important for adults who will be around infants or who need an updated tetanus booster. It can also be useful before international travel if your Tdap vaccination is not up to date.

If you’re preparing for your trip to the Philippines, I can help you determine whether Boostrix is recommended based on your vaccine history.

💉✅ HEPLISAV-B is a hepatitis B vaccine for adults ages 18 and older.

It protects against hepatitis B, a virus that can cause serious liver disease.

The main advantage:

* Only 2 doses
* Given 1 month apart
* Helps provide protection for international travelers who may not already be vaccinated

Since you’re preparing for international travel, hepatitis B vaccination may be worth discussing with your doctor or travel clinic—especially if you’re unsure whether you previously completed the hepatitis B vaccine series.

💉✅ The flu vaccine (influenza vaccine) helps protect against seasonal influenza (the flu).

For international travel, it is especially important because flu viruses circulate year-round in some tropical countries, including the Philippines.

Best timing: Get it ideally at least 2 weeks before travel so your body has time to build protection.

You can generally receive the flu vaccine, Boostrix (Tdap), and HEPLISAV-B at the same visit, if your healthcare provider says they are appropriate for you.

Preparing for an international trip for a whole month! ✈️🌍

But first, taking care of my health. ❤️
On my 2nd day, I’ll be visiting my specialist for my annual checkup. 😟 Today, I’m getting an MRI.

Trying to stay positive and reminding myself that taking care of your health is just as important as preparing for your trip. 🙏💪✨
