Annual lantern parade up the beach from Alder Lane to Coligny Beach Park. My first one was more sun than I expected! BTW, HHIgetaway is right in the middle of the parade route.

So thankful for so many great guests this year at HHIgetaway. I know the pandemic is not over but everyone's joyful mood makes it seem like were getting there. Jon and family from Nebraska were wonderful guests.

There is a little known "back alley" route that makes it a super easy walk to the fabulous new $20 million Lowcountry Celebration Park. We're so excited for the park to open later this week. Check out the video below.

We're so glad Sarah and family from Mocksville, NC had a great vacation on Hilton Head. Since my time to walk to the beach is 8 minutes, I'm a little upset that Sarah's 4 year old child walks it in 7 minutes! Maybe I'll start training and challenge the kid to a walk-off next year... but he'll be 5 years old then... maybe I'll just concede.
