Like so many of you, we were deeply touched by all of the stories of tragedy and loss in the North Carolina mountains this past September, and in the spirit of Christmas, we chose to participate in a toy drive for kids who were devastated by Hurricane Helene. We partnered with Sisters On A Mission to deliver 150 toys that we collected in our office, and this wonderful group of women met us in Charlotte and took the toys from there to families in Franklin, NC.
Funny side note, on the day that we transferred the toys from our vehicles to the trailer, it was too windy to pull the trailer, so the local volunteer ambulance allowed the ladies to use their ambulance to transport the toys. Attached are photos of the ambulance full of toys and we were all so thrilled to hear that the ambulance made it safely to its destination!
