Hey y'all! We are so very thankful that our Nest Dedication program is bringing joy to many and as our major fundraiser, it is a great success. There are still nests to dedicate..but don't wait too long, as this opportunity will end for the 2026 season on Wednesday August 26 at 8 pm (eastern time). The good news is that on November 1 we will open the Nest Dedications for the 2027 season!! Thanks again to all of our supporters! 🐢😍

It makes my heart so happy that our guests are just as excited about our baby sea turtles as I am! 🐢💚 I even received a handmade birthday card to welcome them into the world. Our Island Time Charters family is sharing in this journey and cheering them on together! 🌊

🐢 Our turtles are arriving! 🐢

I received exciting news this morning that our adopted sea turtle nest, Nest #89, is expected to hatch early next week! 💚

The Sea Turtle Patrol will let me know when the nest is about two to three days away, so I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll be able to make it to the beach and witness this incredible moment!

So far, a little over 70 nests have hatched on Hilton Head Island. Now it’s almost time for our babies to begin their journey! 🌊🐢

🐢💚 It’s Turtle Tuesday! 💚🐢

🎉 Hilton Head Island has officially surpassed 400 sea turtle nests this season! 🎉

That’s more than 50 nests beyond the previous island record of 343—an amazing milestone for our beaches, our conservation volunteers, and these incredible mothers who continue returning home year after year.

Even more exciting, more than 50 nests have already hatched! We’ll keep watching Nest #89 closely and promise to share updates as soon as we have them. We have a feeling the best is yet to come! 🐢🌊
