It’s Memorable Meals Monday at Spectacular Journeys and tonight we experienced the elegance and rich Hungarian flavors of Aranybástya in Budapest, a breathtaking restaurant perched on the historic Buda side with spectacular panoramic views overlooking the city and the Danube River. The atmosphere was absolutely magical, blending refined cuisine, glowing candlelight, and stunning historic surroundings with the soft sounds of a live harp player creating an unforgettable ambiance throughout the evening. From beautifully prepared Hungarian dishes and local wines to the romantic terrace views and sophisticated atmosphere, every detail felt luxurious, intimate, and uniquely Budapest. Dining at Aranybástya was truly one of those memorable European evenings that perfectly captures the beauty, culture, and elegance of Hungary.

These buzzing, chaotic markets are the heart and soul of the city, where vendors passionately hawk their goods in true Sicilian fashion, calling out daily specials and drawing you in with the irresistible aromas of sizzling street food. It’s Information Sunday at Spectacular Journeys
Europe’s new Entry/Exit System (EES) is now in effect across the European Union, replacing passport stamps with biometric tracking. This means every time you enter and exit Europe, your passport will be scanned, along with fingerprints and a facial photo.
While this system will eventually make travel more efficient, right now travelers should expect possible delays at passport control, especially on arrival.
To avoid issues: ✔️ Stay in close contact with your transfer driver upon landing ✔️ Go straight to passport control after arrival ✔️ Allow extra time at departure so you don’t risk missing your flight
A little preparation goes a long way as Europe transitions to this new system.
