Tomorrow is National Nēnē Goose Awareness Day and we're celebrating the incredible wildlife that makes Hawaiʻi so unique and reminding ourselves of the importance of mālama Hawaiʻi. From our native species and breathtaking landscapes to our rich cultural heritage, these are the treasures that make our islands extraordinary.

The team that celebrates together, stays together!

This week, our MC&A ʻohana came together to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, a beloved cultural tradition observed across many Asian communities that honors family, friendship, gratitude, and togetherness under the full harvest moon.

From creating colorful paper lanterns and folding origami to learning the basics of mahjong and enjoying lucky treats, the afternoon was filled with creativity, laughter, and a little friendly competition.

At MC&A, we love opportunities to learn about and celebrate the diverse cultures that make our team so special. Events like these help us build stronger connections, create lasting memories, and embrace the spirit of community that brings us together.

Tucked away along the shoreline of Olowalu Beach on Maui, this oceanfront gathering celebrated the beauty of Hawai‘i through vibrant design, breathtaking views, and warm aloha. Framed by swaying coconut palms and the sparkling Pacific, guests were immersed in a setting that captured the spirit of the islands.

Colorful tropical linens, woven chargers, bamboo seating, and orchid-filled centerpieces reflected Hawai‘i’s rich natural landscape, while relaxed lounge vignettes created inviting spaces to connect and unwind. As the sun set behind the neighboring islands, café lights illuminated the lawn and a stage accented with handcrafted surfboards and tropical florals brought an authentic coastal touch to the evening.

Blending Maui’s natural beauty with locally inspired details, the experience was a memorable celebration of place, culture, and island hospitality.
