Every piece tells a different story.

Up close, the glass chandelier at The Veranda is something else entirely. Cobalt and amber and green and crimson, each leaf cut into its own shape, linked together by fine chains into something that took someone a very long time to make and has been stopping people in their tracks ever since.

The Kahala has been welcoming guests to this corner of Honolulu since 1964. The glass chandelier that hung overhead then is the same one that catches the light today, just as luminous, just as alive, just as much the first thing everyone looks up to find.

Some places carry their history quietly. This one wears it beautifully.
