June 4-7, the American Bonsai Society takes over the Arboretum for their 2026 Learning Seminar: Bonsai in the Blue Ridge 🌿

Bonsai in the Blue Ridge will feature a limited‑time exhibition of more than fifty curated bonsai displays, showcasing the refined artistry of shaping trees over time into living works of sculpture. Through deliberate attention to form, balance, age, and natural expression, these trees reveal the harmony between human guidance and the resilience of nature.

The public may explore the exhibit for a $5 entry fee, with additional opportunities to register for seminars, workshops, and tours led by nationally recognized bonsai artists for an added cost.
