Aerial Enigma is owned and operated by Paul Petrehn and Erica Hahn of Howell, Michigan. Paul has been a commercial pilot since 1995, accumulating over 2,300 hours in various balloons throughout nine different countries and is a three-time US National Hot Air Balloon Champion (2004, 2005 and 2013). Erica has been crewing since 1991 and a private pilot since 2002. In addition to their flying experiences, Paul and Erica have helped organize the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, Canowindra, NSW, Australia International Balloon Challenge and various national, regional and local balloon events. These organizational duties have included all aspects of event management and are not limited to hot air balloons.

A great time was had by all at the 40th Michigan Challenge Balloonfest. We even managed a 6th place finish despite the challenging tasks and weather conditions while flying what is now dubbed "the church bus", a Cameron Balloons U.S. Z-133.

A huge thank you to the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce and the entire operations team led by Phil Clinger.
