After a week aboard the Carnival Celebration, I’m home… and wow, am I tired! 😂

On our evening walk last night, my wife and I realized I probably sat in a lounger by the pool for maybe 30 minutes all week. We were too busy zipping around the ship and exploring every gorgeous port of call! 🚢✨

🌴 Grand Turk Vibes! 🌊

Grand Turk never disappoints, it’s the perfect easy beach day! Just a short walk off the pier and we were relaxing on free beach chairs under nature’s umbrellas aka palm tree 🌴

We spent the day bouncing between our chairs, the soft sandy coast, and those stunning turquoise waters!

After soaking up the sun, we headed back onboard for a bite to eat and got ready for some real thrill… our reservation to ride BOLT: the roller coaster at sea! 🎢🚢

Beach + adrenaline = perfect day. 🙌

🇩🇴Amber Cove, Dominican Republic 🇩🇴

Today was packed with adventure, culture, and a whole lot of mud! We started the day with a laid-back city tour, stopping at the Macoríx Rum Factory and strolling through the historic city center, with colorful stops at Umbrella Street and Doña Blanca’s famous pink alley.

Next up: a traditional Dominican lunch with breathtaking views, so delicious and so scenic! 🌄🍽️

Then adrenaline kicked in! 🛻💨 Dune Buggy time! We splashed through rivers, cruised country backroads, and plenty of chickens, roosters, donkeys, cows, and pigs along the way 🐐🐄🐷🐴. Mud puddles? We didn’t avoid them, we aimed for them! 😄

We wrapped it all up with a quick beach stop to rinse off before heading back to the ship, tired but absolutely thrilled. 💚

Huge shoutout to my vendor in Puerto Plata for helping me organize this unforgettable experience for our group of 14. First time doing this—and already can’t wait to do it again! 🙌
