You did the research, picked a top tier stateroom, and are ready to have the cruise of your life…
…except you’re exhausted the whole time, because little did you know, that top tier stateroom was located underneath the ship’s late-night dance club. And you’re a light sleeper.
This is one of the biggest mistakes I see cruisers make: picking their staterooms without looking at the ship’s layout or map, and booking rooms above, below, or next to high-traffic areas.
That’s not to say these staterooms aren’t habitable! Depending on how you like to cruise, these kinds of rooms could be the best option for you. It’s all about knowing yourself, knowing your travel companions, and knowing what will make or break your cruise.
These kinds of mistakes are so easy to make — not just for first-time cruisers, but for experienced travelers as well. That’s why I put together THE INSIDER’S GUIDE TO CRUISING. It’s chocked full of advice from me, a travel pro with many years (and LOTS of cruises) under my belt. Whether you’re looking at your first cruise or fiftieth, there’s value in this guide for anyone.
