I keep coming back to the last thing she says:
“You can do whatever YOU THINK you can do.”
Not because believing something makes it magically happen. Life isn’t always fair. Circumstances are real. There are things outside of our control.
But if you’ve already decided, I could never do that. That could never be my life. I’ll never get the opportunity… you’ve closed the door before it ever had a chance to open.
What if instead you thought, maybe I can.
Maybe I can see the ocean someday.
Maybe I can change careers.
Maybe I can make more money than I’ve ever made.
Maybe I can build a completely different life.
It might happen. It might not happen exactly the way you imagined.
But I’d rather live in a world of “maybe I can” than spend my life convinced that I can’t.
Because before anyone else believes in what’s possible for you, you have to. ❤️
