Almost two years ago, I packed up my life in America and relocated to Kenya.

People ask me all the time if it is worth it.

And honestly? Yes.

Not because life suddenly became perfect, but because the quality of my life mentally, emotionally, and personally changed in ways I never expected.

Relocation is not something that should be romanticized. It requires planning, adaptability, financial structure, and emotional resilience.

But for the right people, it can absolutely transform your life.

Almost two years later, I’m still learning, still growing, and still becoming because of this journey.

Can Americans really build homes in Kenya?

For many people, relocation eventually becomes much bigger than movement.

Some clients arrive wanting to rent. Others begin exploring: • land acquisition
• customized residential building
• commercial investment opportunities
• and long-term development planning in Kenya.

Through Pineville Homes and our partnership with PDM Holdings, we’re continuing to expand what relocation can actually look like for qualifying clients building intentionally across the continent.

Because sometimes relocation becomes legacy building. 🌍

One of the most meaningful moments of my time in the Philippines was finally having the opportunity to meet members of the Aeta community one of the Indigenous communities of the Philippines.

Historically, I’ve always been fascinated by Indigenous cultures across the world, and seeing so many familiar features, similarities, and reflections of people of color within the Indigenous history of the Philippines was both powerful and deeply intriguing to experience in person.

Moments like this remind me that culture, migration, identity, and human history are often far more connected than we realize.

Honestly, experiences like this are a major reason why I approach travel, relocation, medical tourism, and investigative tours differently through Traverze Culture.

For me, it has never been just about visiting a place.

It’s about cultural immersion, understanding people, exploring history, and experiencing the deeper human connections that exist across the world.

I was able to capture this experience on video, and I can’t wait to share more with you all soon. 🌍🇵🇭

Recently released a very personal episode of Conversations & Culture where I shared more of the story behind the journey.

From dropping out in the 10th grade, joining the military, transitioning into civilian contracting, and eventually building internationally across relocation, healthcare navigation, and global mobility—this conversation reflects on resilience, reinvention, and the realities of creating a life beyond statistics and circumstances.

Too often, entrepreneurship conversations only highlight success while skipping over survival, uncertainty, discipline, and the personal growth required to sustain the journey.

This episode was important to me because it speaks not only to business, but to transformation.

Grateful for everyone continuing to support the vision and the work we are building through Traverze Culture.

Full episode now available on YouTube. 🌍

One of the most overlooked parts of relocation is financial integration.

Relocation involves more than simply arriving in a new country. It also involves structure, compliance, documentation, and understanding how to build systems correctly from the beginning.

As part of our relocation ecosystem, we assist qualifying clients with navigating financial onboarding during their immigration and integration process through institutional partnerships.

Every client situation is different, and eligibility always remains subject to institutional policies, documentation requirements, immigration status, and legal compliance.

I am honored to have been part of the delegation and panel for the 3rd International Health & Wellness Tourism Congress here in Manila, Philippines 🇵🇭

This experience has been incredibly eye-opening not only professionally within medical tourism, healthcare facilitation, and patient advocacy, but personally as well.

Being able to represent Kenya, East Africa, and the continent in these conversations alongside global leaders in healthcare and wellness tourism was something I truly do not take lightly.

A special thank you to Agora for the invitation, hospitality, and for creating such an impactful space for collaboration and learning.

I’m leaving this experience with new perspectives, new relationships, and a much deeper understanding of what world-class healthcare coordination and patient experience can look like globally.

I am definitely grateful for this opportunity, and I am absolutely looking forward to continuing this journey. 🌍🇰🇪

One of the biggest mistakes people make when planning relocation is only focusing on lifestyle and not economics.

Kenya’s fuel prices have now reached record highs, with recent increases pushing prices up approximately 16%.

Why does this matter?

Because fuel prices affect:

transportation

Uber and taxi pricing

food costs

restaurants

healthcare logistics

real estate and construction

imports and household goods

and overall cost of living

Inflation and geopolitical shifts directly impact your relocation budget and long-term sustainability.

Relocation should never be approached emotionally alone.

It requires strategy, planning, and understanding the realities on the ground.

Sometimes, the life you’re meant to live looks nothing like the one you originally planned.

Trusting the process has taken me across the world, into rooms I once only imagined, and into opportunities bigger than myself.

On my way to the Philippines 🇵🇭

I am honored to be participating in my first international speaking engagement within the medical tourism industry representing Kenya, East Africa, and the continent in global conversations around healthcare access and wellness tourism.

Still surreal seeing my name alongside leaders from around the world while helping position Kenya as a growing regional destination for healthcare and medical tourism.

And somehow, this journey is also taking me to my 47th country visited.

I am grateful for the opportunity and excited for what’s ahead. 🌍🇰🇪

Immigration is one of the most misunderstood parts of relocation.

Different immigration pathways can impact:
long-term residency
retirement planning
business opportunities
future approvals
and legal status

Today’s focus was legal coordination and immigration consultation as part of our relocation integration process.

Because relocation is more than movement.

It requires structure from the beginning.

DM “KENYA” if you’re serious about the process.
