Disney Cruise Line is making a big announcement tomorrow…

And they are being sneaky! These are latitude coordinates only—not full coordinates—but they line up with Disney Cruise Line home ports:

40° 46.3′ N — New York City
18° 27′ N — San Juan, Puerto Rico
29° 18.2′ N — Galveston, Texas
32° 43.3′ N — San Diego, California
26° 5.4′ N — Fort Lauderdale / Port Everglades
28° 24′ N — Port Canaveral, Florida

With all six coordinates together, I think this is a good clue to the next itinerary release/deployment, with New York returning as a possible home port.

Disney Cruise Line hasn’t sailed from New York in quite awhile (I think Crystal & I sailed NYC to Bermuda in 2018), so my guess is 40° 46.3′ N is a strong indicator New York City may see some upcoming cruise departures soon.

When Monstropolis opens in 2027, guests can explore locations inspired by Monsters, Inc., including Harryhausen’s and Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza. Mike and Sulley will star in a new theater show featuring an original song by Disney Legend Randy Newman.

Spaceship Earth will receive its first major update in nearly two decades. The attraction’s story will expand beyond human communication to explore the broader theme of human connection, while maintaining the optimism and spirit of the original.

𝓕𝓲𝓰𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽 & 𝓓𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓶𝓯𝓲𝓷𝓭𝓮𝓻 – 𝓔𝓟𝓒𝓞𝓣
Dreamfinder and Figment are officially preparing for a new journey into imagination at EPCOT. Disney teased their return at D23, with additional details still to come.

Disneyland’s Tomorrowland is getting a major reimagining designed to honor the land’s original legacy while looking toward the future. Plans include new attractions, more open spaces and new areas centered around dreaming about tomorrow.

🐘 World Elephant Day 🐘

Today is World Elephant Day—a day I wish we didn’t need, but one that matters deeply. Elephants continue to face threats from habitat loss, human-wildlife conflict, poaching, and the pressures that come when tourism isn’t managed responsibly.

For us, responsible travel isn’t just about where we send our clients—it’s about who we choose to partner with when they get there. We thoughtfully work with safari lodges, camps, guides, and organizations that prioritize conservation, sustainability, local communities, and the long-term protection of the wildlife we’re so privileged to experience.

When our clients travel to Kenya, one of my favorite recommendations is a visit to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where you can learn about their incredible work rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned elephants and helping protect Kenya’s wildlife and wilderness.

And yes, I am also personally invested. I’m the proud sponsor of Mzinga, an orphaned elephant in Sheldrick’s care. Following her story has made something I already believed even more personal: travel can and should leave a destination better than we found it.
