Denver was such a fun city! Taking the train from the airport to Union Station and getting around on the free 16th Street Mall shuttle. Downtown is incredibly walkable, which made it easy to explore!
One of the highlights was touring the U.S. Mint and seeing where currency is made—such a cool experience. The Daniels & Fisher clock tower, built in 1911 in an Italian Renaissance style, was once the tallest building west of the Mississippi and is still an iconic sight. The Colorado State Capitol, built in 1894, was just as impressive with its gold-leafed dome and unique Colorado Rose Onyx interior.
Stroll through Civic Center Park, take in the incredible architecture including Trinity Methodist Church, and savor the art spilling out onto nearly every corner. The plethora of unique coffee shops, wide array of cultural foods, and the overall vibe of the city are just so enjoyable.
