Do you have REAL ID?

Does your child need a REAL ID to fly? Here’s what parents should know:

Good news – children under 18 do not need a REAL ID to fly domestically. If they’re traveling with an adult who has a REAL ID or another TSA-approved ID, they’re good to go!

However, if your teen plans to fly solo, they will need either a REAL ID, a compliant state ID, or another form of acceptable ID (like a passport). If your teen is getting their first ID soon, consider getting a REAL ID, so they’re travel-ready for the future!
