The springtime inshore bite is starting to heat up! We are starting to see better numbers of Snook caught with the size improving as well. The Snook bite will continue to improve throughout the spring as we approach their summer spawn. When conditions permit, the offshore fishing has been pretty steady with Sailfish, Mahi, Blackfin Tuna & Kingfish making the catch lists for those fishing the surface.

It’s a great time of the year to go fishing! Recent trips aboard our 23’ Parker Big Bay have produced Snook, Sheepshead, Pompano, Grouper, big Jacks, Mahi, Sailfish plus a variety of other species.

The water temperatures inshore have begun to warm up a bit which has led to the Snook fishing improving and it will only continue to pick up as we get into the spring. The Sheepshead bite has still been really good for those who are looking to fill up to cooler with some Lane Snappers in the mix too.

The big Jacks have been out on the beach and are a blast to catch on poppers, a few Tarpon have been out there too. This time of the year also gives us some opportunities when conditions permit to run offshore and target Cobia, Mahi, Sailfish, Blackfin Tuna & more!

The start of February has brought us some good weather and some pretty good fishing to go along with it! Capt. Justin has been keeping his anglers busy with plenty of action and plenty of fish to bring home for the table. Luckily we are right by downtown Jensen so you’re more than welcome to go right down the street to grab a drink or a bite to eat while Capt. Justin cleans your catch!

Sheepshead, Pompano, Spanish Mackerel and Lane Snappers have been making regular appearances at the fillet table following recent trips. Snook season has reopened and the Snook fishing is beginning to pickup as the water temperatures are warming up from our cold January. The weather has been cold, but the fishing has been hot over the past week! The Sheepshead bite has been really good and we’ve been able to fill the coolers up with them along with Pompano, Snapper, Spanish Mackerel and more. Happy New Year from Snook Nook Charters! Our winter fishing has been pretty good for us here on the Treasure Coast. Recent trips with Capt. Justin have yielded clients Pompano, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Lane Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Bonefish, Snook and more.

The Snook bite has been hot for our clients here lately! Slot sized fish along with over slots have been making it in the boat consistently with several heart breakers that have broken off. If you’re looking to chase after a keeper, season remains open until December 15th.

Aside from the Snook fishing, our clients have had plenty of action with catch lists including Tarpon, Grouper, Snapper, Sheepshead, Croakers, Black Drum, plenty of jacks and more. As we get more cool fronts, more of our migratory species will begin to make an appearance including Pompano, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish and more.

The wind has been blowing, but the fish have still been biting! Anglers have had success on recent trips catching Snook, Redfish, Jacks, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel as well as have had shots at a few Tarpon that have still been around.

As we get into November we will begin to see more of our seasonal winter species pushing through including more Sheepshead, Black Drum, Spanish Mackerel, Croakers, Pompano, Bluefish and more. Anglers will still have their shot at catching Snook as well and Snook season remains open until December 15th for those who are looking to harvest a slot.

We had a productive inshore trip today with our clients catching Snook up to 41” and stayed busy with more Snook and Jacks. Yesterday we fished a quick morning trip with some of our guys from Daiwa and showed them how we use some of their equipment and introduced them to kite fishing. They stayed busy with plenty of bites from Kingfish and Bonito and we had a shot at a Sail. We also had a few Cobia come up around the boat but all were shorts.

The angler must be present when leaving the dock to receive the free shirt and the offer is good for up to four shirts while supplies last. When booking the trip on the website, specify in the comments which color and what size shirts you would like. You don’t need to fish in August, the trip just needs to be booked in August. These shirts will only be available for this promo and will not be for sale.

Capt. Justin has been on the fish both inshore and offshore over the past few weeks. Inshore trips have produced a lot of quality sized Snook with some being in the 40” class. His anglers have also had shots at Tarpon and some big Jacks. Capt. Justin fished the Stuart Sailfish Club’s Jr. Angler Tournament with Eli and his friends and the crew managed to take home 1st, 2nd, 3rd place Snook, 1st place Jack Crevalle and most interesting catch with a Sawfish. The offshore bite has consisted of some steady Sailfish action with Kingfish, Mahi, Blackfin Tuna and a few Wahoo in the mix.
